What is the point of waiting for the sale. Cos.

I’m so pissed off with Cos. I ordered a jumper. Good value, every size available, put into my trolley and paid OVER A WEEK AGO. Today I received an email. Sorry some items you ordered are unavailable. You guessed it, the jumper!

I’m so annoyed. How is their inventory and website so poor that they can’t update it faster and ship to customers sooner? If they had, I’d have ordered the same jumper in a bigger size but they waited until it was sold out before sending an email.

So bloody frustrating!

I had this with DD’s tumble shorts from Gap too, she received 1 out of the 3 pairs ordered😒

That is annoying.

I’ve just bought online from Cos for the first and last time. I had to wait over five weeks for the refund email to come through (and not yet checked my account). It’s a shame as I like the clothes and don't have time to go to the shops, but their returns process needs to be sorted out. (Other Stories, same group, seem to be the same....)

Yes they were really slow to send my sale orders out too but I've now got 2 big boxes of stuff I'm sending back as it all misses the mark - too shapeless, strange fabric or just unflattering.

There just one I may keep - a jersey culottes jumpsuit (wasn't in sale though, typical!).

So, keep checking as there will be tonnes of stuff going back if my order is anything to go by!

Weirdly for once this year my sale order arrived in 2 days, I tried it all on, returned the next day the bits I didn’t want. Expecting the refund to take weeks as usual. I don’t understand why they won’t do instore refunds. It is frustrating as I love their clothes.

Weekday are having delays as well, also HM group. I find this worth knowing:

Once the shop has got the money from your order it has to send your stuff out within 5 days or your bank/Paypal grabs your money back.

Crafty stores know their cash flow gets a big boost from taking in money and hanging onto it for as long as possible without sending the goods out. Annoying - right up against the limits of the law, too.

Get wise to shops such as HM & co and TK Maxx who wait till 3 minutes before time's up before they bother to start looking for what you paid for a week ago.

Seriously folks, keep an eye on how long it takes a shop to send out - you may find they're using you as a cash cow rather than a customer.

I think with Cos you might be better wearing the delivery box, it's all just so shapeless when it turns up in real life.

I don't do Cos online, it needs to be tried on in person! I have bought online from them before but their courier / delivery service was rubbish and the refund period is incredibly long...

Best to do it all in peson if possible. I've just picked up 2 sacks (I like the way they look on me) dresss for 50% off.

Half of my wardrobe is Cos and I always order online. I'm lucky though that I know what size I am in their different styles.

The jumper came up on their website again and I secured it. Now its a waiting game to see if this one is actually available by the time they get around to sending it. My other order hasn't yet arrived.

I agree they are terribly slow with refunds. I have emailed them regarding my last few orders and they said they are having problems due to changing their warehouse (to be fair they were bad before they changed warehoues anyway!).
