I don't know WHAT to get or where to get them but I don't want to look like a crumpled paper bag and although i love cropped trousers they don't love my short legs or chunky calves C'mon girls, stop berating tarts and get back to the important stuff of life

ok, I got some nice linen/viscose ones in sainsburys in brown. not too crumply and quite flattering.

harpsichordcarrier · 23/05/2007 13:48

any thoughts about colour? size?

harpsichordcarrier · 23/05/2007 13:50

cotton linen blend

DANCESwithnewlytannedlegs · 23/05/2007 13:50

size 12/14
Not black, 'neutral' colours - navy or chocolate brown or paler browns (had my colours done last week and navy is one of my neutrals...haven't worn it for years)
Sorry a bit vague!

I got these in cream in the store flattering on my short stumps

ArcticRoll · 23/05/2007 13:57

I was in Gap today and they had lots of nice non linen summer trousers in those neutral colours you mentioned Dances.

harpsichordcarrier · 23/05/2007 13:57

what about boarding trousers?

next is crap for searching but look under casual wear, folk story

DANCESwithnewlytannedlegs · 23/05/2007 13:57

Hmmm, am still scared of cream or white because of a)VPL b)inherrent grubbiness I mentioned earlier!
