Help me sort out my hair please. I look like worzel gummidges aunt Sally.
I'm trying to grow a pixie style into a bob shape. I have thick wavy curly hair and am 6 months into growing it. I've had it trimmed 3 times and the hairdresser has been letting the sides grow and keeping the back short.

It looked fine until after the last cut and now the side bits seem to stick out lor curl up like a pair of horns. I think that perhaps the bits at the sides are cut too fine -I can't make them thicker. I try to tuck them behind my ears or pin them flat. What do I do?

Ben at Urban Therapy in Nottingham is good with thick wavy hair. And short hair too, so hopefully cover all options.

I am a few months ahead of you and have reached bob stage hurrah!

I braided the front of my hair off my face for months whilst the sides grew out. Can you do that? Kind of a French plait starting at the side and going over the top. Twist the thee side and grip into place to give a bit of (a)symmetry

I had a pixie for 7 years before growing it out.

The pre-pubescent Justin Bieber stage was the worst. I looked like a Lego figurine.

I'll check out our local Facebook groups for recommendations @Bombardier25966 Thank you. I'm not far from Nottingham so I'll pop into urban therapy

I need to decide what I want done with my hair now .

I've eclipsed Justin Bieber and my hair has gone full blown Micky Flanagan Shock

The sides are just past my ears , the back is on my collar.
Do I perservere, bodyswerve the scissors and carry on or have the back cut in and risk looking a bit mushroom?
The condition is good so no real worries about split ends (yet)

I think the posh grow out is my favourite. Straightening when required. I am growing mine out for the first time in years.

I think that having it shaped into a micro bob I sent the way forward. Rather be a bit Lego than Bieber mullety 🙂

Second pic is workable for waves, third is my hair goal....
