Is this dress suitable for a wedding, or will I look like a bridesmaid!

Hi all

I've bought this dress for a wedding in July, I loved it when I tried it on as it very flattering and I can wear a 'proper bra' with it.

Although now I'm starting to worry I'll look like a bridesmaid?

It's lovely. Though it's always worth checking what colour the bridesmaids will be wearing, whatever you wear.

It'll be fine but dress it down rather than up, if you see what I mean.

You could email the bride just to check what colour her bridemaids are wearing

The groom is a friend of my husband and I've never met the bride so I can't really check what colour scheme she's having.

I was thinking of dressing down, nude heels and bag and wearing my hair up with no fascinator or hat.

I really like the structure of it. If you are worried about colour you could ask the bride.

Did they send a personalised invite? You might be able to see their wedding colours from there

Gosh no, it’s gorgepus, just right for a wedding guest imo. You could have gone to Meghan’s wedding in that!

Good point about finding out which colour the bridesmaids are wearing but it would be pretty bad luck to be that particular shade of green.

I have never heard of anyone checking bridesmaid colours with the bride??!

If I was the bride I would think that was very nosey!!!
Dress is absolutely stunning just wear it.

My bridesmaids were in blue and so was half the guests.....didn't bother me in the slightest!!
