Very fine hair after growing out a crop - persevere or chop?

Grown out a crop for nearly a year... Nearly at jaw length and my hair is proving to be extremely fine, wispy and flat. Hairdrying etc lasts no time, it's just flat and wispy.

So, knowing it's got wispier as it's grown, do I keep trying to grow it, or give in?

It's defiantly floppy, and any product seems to make it move less but so it's stiff and looses anynotion if swooshiness...

I am growing out a crop. A year and a half in and, after dailyish massaging, it has grown thicker and swishier than before.
I use the, extortionately expensive Invati conditioner and massage stuff from Aveda and their men's pureformsnce shampoo as it is a bit cheaper. So swishy and broke or cropped and spend all the money on hair cuts I guess. Tho' I wonder how much the daily massage is responsible tbf.

Can you pop a photo up - it might look better than you think.

No good at pics and on phone, but even if I move parting really far over to side to bulk volume of hair it's really flat and thin.

Test is walking out of toilets at work to be met with a flat hair saggy sad hair that seems to drag my face down.

Arghhhhhhh! Downside? I lost my cheekbones and jawline many years ago!
