I have really thick frizzy hair that I spend ages blow drying & straightening or blow drying and curling but on holiday it is totally unmanageable I usually put a leave in conditioner in after my shower and end up pulling into a bun but I am thinking of trying to embrace the curls, was thinking of trying some sea salt spray and letting it dry itself, should I try anything else?

I'm following for tips, hope you don't mind!

Embrace the curls.

I'm following for tips too if that's OK. There seems to be a lot of frizzy haired women worrying about their hair on holiday.

Korea Red Vine Hair Sun Protection is pretty good and stopping it drying on in the sun. Smells good too.

Which products do you use ?

hendricksy · 10/06/2018 18:23

I have curly hair , I wash and condition and when it's soaking wet I use this product https://umbertogiannini.com/shop/products/creme-de-curl-control-cream?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6r75c3J2wIVQbTtCh3J8QjnEAQYCSABEgIpqqDBwE
They I towel dry and add mousse from the same range and then diffuse it drip dry ... it's worth trying on your hair as it's just a Case of trial and error
Lots of people do the curly girl method but that makes my hair too curly 😬😬

I have curly hair that has a tendency to frizz in the slightest bit of humidity. I used to use the Body Shop's leave in conditioner but that's been discontinued. A curly colleague recommended OGXs Coconut Curls frizz defying curl styling milk and I am a convert. My hair is fine, and the leave in conditioner would make it quite lank if my hair wasn't in the mood. The OGX one is milk, and lighter, so I get loads of good definition, with no frizz, and no dropping. It's ace. You can get it from Boots.

Embrace the curls, always. Even if you can tame it day to day - can you really be arsed with that on holiday?

I used a good conditioner and a leave in oil/serum for the 'beach waves' look.
