Does this dress look ok ?

I bought this dress earlier this year but I've only worn it once because my Mum (who is 5ft3 and 8 stone) said it made me look huge.

Usually I wear shift dresses but I wanted something different. It is a bit low at the front so I have a vest top underneath.

I know it shows my tummy and boobs but I have always hated how I look and I am trying to embrace my body and accept it. I want to lose 7-10lbs but I am off work with anxiety and I am finding it tough.

Honest opinions please !

You arent huge at all.

But the dress is frumpy and ill fitting.

^^ Are you her mother? Hmm

You are not huge, you have a lovely figure. The dress looks fine but I think it would be better without a vest top underneath at all.

It looks really lovely OP

Looks lovely to me. If you feel self conscious maybe wear it around the house and in the garden so it feels less new and then go out more relaxed and happy. I tend to wear my clothes till they fall apart and have to 'break' new clothes in!

Your mum is taking utter shite so please ignore her.
He dress suits you and looks nice.
I would wear some big suck me in pants but that’s just me!
You look lovely! X

Yes, but seamless pants would make it more streamline at the sides.
