Baukjen 'Neath' jersey trousers - worth the money?

I'm wondering if anyone has these and can advise on whether they're worth the cost.

I really like this style of trousers, and have had a similar style from M&S on the go for a while now but they only last about a year before they go very sad and have to be retired.

I would be willing to pay more for them if I knew they'd last me several years. However, they seem to be the same fabric as the M&S version (i.e. 95% viscose and 5% elastance) so unless not all viscose is created equally, then I can't see that the extra outlay would be worth it?

They are nice enough but not amazing and not really worth the money I don’t think.
To be fair they are good quality

I bought light khaki coloured ones in the sale last year and was pretty disappointed, I’d have been really narked if I’d paid full price.
I kept them - basically because I was too lazy to schlep them back to the Post Office, but to be honest, I prefer the extremely similar ones Next have every year.

I have them in black. I wear them for work a lot - they are wearing very well.

I just ordered them and sent them straight back. They are 'neat' looking thin tracksuit trousers in my opinion - deffo couldn't justify the money. Was super disappointed

Next seem to have changed the design slightly this year...this is their offering - previous years have been almost identical to “Neath” trousers.

I have a couple of baukjen things bought on sale. The designs are nice but the quality is not what you’d expect for the price.

Thanks all - I'll keep buying the cheaper version I think! Might give the Next version a go next time I need a new pair.

I got a really good quality slightly more cropped pair from ASOS which are amazing!

@RickOShay I haven’t bought the new style ones from Next, but the ones I have from last year and the year before are slightly thicker than the Baukjen ones, and a bit drapier.
More flattering imo.

I loved the Next harems from a couple of years ago. I bought the jersey joggers this year and I don't think they are a patch on the harems. The cut isn't great and the fabric feels cheap - very like a pair I picked up in Primark for a fiver.
