Help me find the holy grail of tan wedges

Every summer I look for these shoes everywhere but never find any that are quite right. Has anyone here seen any that fit the bill?

Must be:

Tan

Wedges (but not too high - fine for casual wear with shorts)

No ankle strap (these make my legs look short and fat)

TIA

Office have some nice ones. What about [[https://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,33/3131445008060?gclid=EAIaIQobChMInuLw0um52wIV55XtCh12pgECEAQYASABEgJnt_D_BwE these?

ApolloandDaphne · 04/06/2018 11:45

Sorry - clicky link fail!

ZaZathecat · 04/06/2018 11:53

Carvela?

CointreauVersial · 04/06/2018 13:41

I was just about to suggest the Carvela ones, having seen them mentioned on another thread!

Cacofonix · 04/06/2018 13:52

No ankle strap

Expensive though

Shufflebumnessie · 04/06/2018 22:01

I put 'tan wedge' into the Office website search bar and it came up with all these;
www.office.co.uk/view/search?search=tan+wedge

Not sure if any are what you're after but worth a look :)

Thank you mnetters.

The only ones that fit the bill so far are the Russell and Bromley ones (because they have no ankle strap or near ankle strap) but I can’t afford to pay £135 for them. There were a couple that would have been perfect on the Office link but they’re nice, not tan.

Why do these shoes not exist for me? You’d think they’d be a basic that loads of people would buy - ankle straps make everyone’s legs look a bit stumpy unless they have extremely long and thin legs.

I've used the shop and they're great.

Do you use “sling back” as part of your search term?

Office Maiden range. Two heel heights, loads of colours, no ankle straps and insanely comfortable.

I bought these. They are more tan than they look in this photo. Sorry can’t link on phone. They are amazingly comfy and also wide fit (fat ankles here!)

I've been lusting after the Palmeria ones for months but wish they did the mid height ones without the cork.

halfwitpicker · 05/06/2018 19:54

The windowing ones are nice. They cover the heel too.

Mrs9C · 05/06/2018 21:03

I'm lusting after the Carvela ones, are they comfortable?

Mrs9C · 05/06/2018 21:05

Carvela ones reduced since this this morning, and now sold out Sad
