The current mom jeans trend looks awful on me as my shape is inverted triangle.

I have a pair of flared jeans and slightly flared cargo pants. I'm also an inverted triangle, and think they look fab. Am tempted to buy more but restraining myself. Certainly opens up a whole new shoe wardrobe, and easy to style by tucking tops in.

Very frustrated by mom jeans. Either straight leg or flared for me.

I've just bought some new flares. They cup my bum and make it look fantastic and then whoosh out below my knees and make my feet look little. I love them (except when it rains).

Flared are awesome.
I have a great pair which are tight (but stretchy and comfy) to the knees but flare.
Bootcut are a bit meh for me though.

I have some a similar shape to these.

Just make sure they're nice and long. Most of the examples of them looking bad are because they are too short! I love them!
