I've started getting a weekly blow dry

Entirely thanks to Mumsnet! There was a recent thread about regular blow dries, and it inspired me to look around and see if I could manage to afford it. I found a verrrry fancy salon near my office, which offers a startlingly cheap blow dry if you get it done by their second year apprentice.

I've been going every Friday during my lunchtime and getting a GLORIOUS blow dry that I manage to make last until Tuesday with shower caps, silk pillowcases and dry shampoo. I have lovely, bouncy hair for half the week and then a ponytail for the other half. It's fantastic!

Here's today's Grin

@Candyflip as promised, here it is on Day 3. Not perfect, but still pretty nice after a quick brush.

I'm thinking of doing this. Do you think they would French plait it ?

LavenderHills · 03/06/2018 11:42

@Skyejuly I don't see why not. Actually, I might try asking for that for a change!

Lovely hair OP Smile

A few years ago one of my local salons was offering a £10 blow dry with a junior, don't think they do it any more.

Still looking good! I don’t know what I do in my sleep but I look like worse gummidge after only one day. 😫

*worzel.
And I actually hate you now. Sorry. We were getting on so well, but it is completely over.

I haven't had my hair done for nearly 6 years. Desperately overdue a trim and style

If you are near fenwicks, they have an avieda hair salon and for a monthly subscription they will blow dry and style your hair as many times as you like. It wasn’t unreasonable either, I want to say about £80 but I’m guessing a bit at that part as it is my friend that gets it done not me.

You have lovey hair op!
