Too cutesy or can I wear this for years to come?

My everyday jewellery is very dainty. I love this pendant & DH wants to get me something special for my 30th birthday this year. What do you think? Is the flower shape too young? Or can I wear it for years?

I'm not a fan, but if you like it who cares.

princessbear80 · 30/05/2018 22:51

I think that’s lovely and you can wear it at any age.

Oly5 · 30/05/2018 22:51

Very pretty

AnyFucker · 30/05/2018 22:53

It's pretty. I like it.

Ostentatious jewelry is naff. I have a diamond set small silver cross pendant I have had for years. I never take it off and I never wear snything else.

MarklahMarklah · 30/05/2018 23:00

If you like it, wear it. I don't think there's an age limit on jewellery is there? Personally I prefer pusheen and I'm nearly 50, but each to their own. Smile

MarklahMarklah Oooh, super fancy!

OP, I think it's lovely. And it'll catch the light beautifully.

icklekid · 31/05/2018 05:43

What about this? Similar but less flower like?

It looks a bit tacky to me.

FiestaThenSiesta · 31/05/2018 06:08

I’m thinking those are real diamonds, hence the hope it doesn’t date? In my opinion, small diamond pieces never date as much as bold statement jewelry. I can see that on an 18 year old and an 80 year old. Lovely.

WaitrosePigeon · 31/05/2018 06:09

Love it. Would be lovely as a ring!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 31/05/2018 06:32

I think it's lovely. I've got an engagement ring quite similar and I still love it.

Is it vintage?

HawkinsIndiana · 31/05/2018 07:15

Not a fan either. If you like it though that's what counts.

skippy67 · 31/05/2018 08:28

I don't like it, but if you do, then buy it!

Petalflowers · 31/05/2018 08:31

I think it’s lovely, and you could wear it for years.

JaceLancs · 31/05/2018 08:42

I have a similar one wear it nearly every day it goes with anything and is plain and won’t date
Go for the best quality you can afford even if that means secondhand to get better diamonds

feltcarrot · 31/05/2018 08:45

That’s the same as my engagement ring, except my ring has 7 diamonds around the outside, it’s a beautiful necklace OP, where is it from? I want one too!!

lemonsunshinecake · 31/05/2018 09:26

It's timeless and beautiful OP

That1950sMum · 31/05/2018 09:28

It is beautiful and I can't see why it would date.

Pinkkahori · 31/05/2018 09:46

It's the same as my engagement ring too! Love it.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 31/05/2018 09:47

I'm 54 and my engagement ring is that shape (but with a sapphire centre stone). I also have matching earrings. I would happily wear that pendant everyday (perhaps not with the earrings as well, might be a bit much).

My jewellery style is also dainty. I don't think age has anything to do with it. Go for it.

scrivette · 31/05/2018 09:58

It's lovely and should be one you can wear forever.

Justwaitingforaline · 31/05/2018 10:05

It’s the same as my engagement ring too!

Trumpton · 31/05/2018 10:24

Can some one point me in the direction of a necklace like this please . So pretty and would match my 1914 engagement ring .

VogueVVague · 31/05/2018 12:46

I think its naff sorry

BarbaraWarpecker · 31/05/2018 12:58

Have you looked at Tiffany? They have some beautiful, simple, stylish, classic pendants from £100ish up.
My sister got me this beauty for a significant birthday. It will never date. I will never tire of it. It goes with everything.
