I'm useless at choosing things for myself these days (fat, lumpy and old) and need a sensible, comfortable, nice dress for a fancy summer party (school - so nothing too tight/short/weird or DS will disown me).
I'm (eherm) late 40s, size ten in M&S, crap legs, 5'8 and very pale.
I like full skirts with tie waist and need something to cover my chubby arms.
I started looking on eBay but my feed was full of bloody Missguided dresses (thanks mumsnet thread on the bum less jeans) so I got sucked down a rabbit hole of eye-watering dresses and was laughing so hard I had to give up.
Help!
