Tall ladies, come and talk to me about crossbody bags

I'm 6ft tall and need a cross body bag which doesn't sit just under my norks!

I want one which will sit just below my my hip.

Where do you buy them?

I've got one from Mia Tui which has an adjustable strap which might work for you.

Strudelorcheesecake · 26/05/2018 14:46

White Stuff, Fat Face and Crumpler have all worked for me (5'11'') in the past. But you do have to try them - not all are long enough.

Tequilamockinbird · 26/05/2018 15:23

I do have some with adjustable straps but they're still not long enough even on the last hole.

Will have a look at fat face, thanks

This is my usual dilemma too.

I found some good length-ones at Fossil.

JemmimaJ · 27/05/2018 01:49

White Stuff do lovely leather cross body bags that hang low with adjustable straps.

DramaAlpaca · 27/05/2018 01:51

Marking place for ideas.

thefishwhocouldwish · 27/05/2018 05:18

Bradley have some with adjustable straps.

LockedOutOfMN · 27/05/2018 13:51

I've got a cheap one from Misako which has an adjustable strap. They have many different colours, sizes and styles.

CountFosco · 27/05/2018 14:09

Zatchels have 2 lengths of adjustable strap.

thefishwhocouldwish · 27/05/2018 14:22

oops that would be RADLEY lol

littleHen84 · 27/05/2018 14:30

Fat face have a leather satchel with a blue ditsy floral lining i am 5'7 and it was quite long lovely soft leather and plenty of room for all bits and bobs,it was £69 and looked like it would last.

OrcinusOrca · 27/05/2018 14:50

I have a Cambridge satchel. I'm 5'8 and have it no lower than about four holes from the longest it could be. Not everyone likes a satchel but I love mine, best bag I've ever had.

MistAmougstElephants · 27/05/2018 14:52

Second fat face.

Squ1ggle · 27/05/2018 15:22

I have a fossil Cross body bag with a lovely long strap. I'm 5ft 10 and it's got a couple more notches on the strap so could be even longer. I picked it up pretty cheap in tkmaxx

MrsPear · 27/05/2018 15:24

What type you after op?

I got one off Etsy - love quirky was the maker - and they often ask re lengths of strap.

Squ1ggle · 27/05/2018 15:24

It was this one but in a different colour www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/bags-early-access/black-leather-camera-bag/p/11236247

OccasionalNachos · 27/05/2018 15:25

I’ve just bought an excellent one from oasis with a really long ajustable strap. It is inside a shopper bag so two bags in one, fully detachable.

Tequilamockinbird · 30/05/2018 12:43

Thanks for all of your ideas, will do some googling about tonight.

I'm not really bothered about a fancy one or a branded one, just one that is long enough would be great.

I'm off to Florida in a couple of weeks and want it for use in the theme parks as I'm too fat for a bumbag

The Radley cross body bag is good because it has the slide strap adjuster. The strap gets really long, and the bag sits close to your body with oodles of pockets. You can pick one up for less than £100, they last years. Once you have taken the dog tag off they are fairly anonymous.
Buckle ones are not always secure when you are down to the last hole.

Kipling bags are great, can be bought cheaply in TKMaxx and are perfect for travelling/holidays as they pack up small, are light, spacious and can be machine washed. The long, adjustable straps are perfect for taller people.

allthatmalarkey · 30/05/2018 17:02

5' 8"
White Stuff
Fat Face
Osprey - tiny ones

goose1964 · 30/05/2018 17:03

Kipling, I'm 5 7 but my Kiplings are nowhere near fully extended , at least 6 inches left

Pattylogic · 30/05/2018 17:08

I came to recommend Kipling too.
