We're lucky enough to have some tickets to the dress rehearsal of the Garsington Opera. Never been before, but I know it's black/suit for men and evening growns/dresses for ladies normally. It takes part in a large pavilion in some lovely grounds which you can also enjoy, and the whole occasion brings to mind a mid summer night.
It's in two days time, no chance of shopping as we're getting ready to go away the next day. All I've got is
- Short black dress with silver pattern threaded through it, sort of thing I'd wear to a ball/special party with disco
- Short black dress with royal blue lace pattern over
- Summer dress (white with large pinky flowers and navy pattern with navy bow which ties around the waist) and a matching pinky cardigan which was sold with it
- Blue Mistral patterned dress and a blue cardigan.
Which would you wear? Due to location I almost feel I'd get away with 3 or 4, 2 would be safe, 1 I'd have worn to an Opera in the city.
