Nice skater dresses for short arses with Mum tums?

I need some skater dresses for the summer. I am short and my csection gut is real so I need them with fairly high waists, and not too short so I can actually bend over and pick up the kids without flashing everyone. Thoughts?

I don't think there are any flattering skater dresses ... Why that particular style? Someone might have suggestions for nice alternatives

Just because they flow out over my giant gut. It’s the only thing I’ve found that seems like it would look vaguely okay - I have loose dresses but I look like a sack of potatoes, I need something fitted up top and not at all fitted below!
