Is to find me a new hairstyle!

at present, fine, curly , tatty , shoulder length hair

cannot wear it down as so knackered, it just doesn;t hang nicely, it is naturally curly / wavy, but I have GHDs, although it does go wavy if i get rained on !!

I need a new haircut, a style, that i can deal with easily, don;t mind washing it every morning as i do that anyway

am thinking a layered, bob, of some description, maybe a Pob, but not too severe,

any thoughts??

I was just thinking a Pob as I staretd reading. Go for it!

ChippyMinton · 18/05/2007 14:04

how about this?
What is a Pob please?

lulumama · 18/05/2007 14:04

i am anxious about cutting my hair, as i have had it long for ages, and will feel nekkid without it !! but it is in such bad condition, i really need to cut it and start again!

LOL! I thikn that is what finished me off , all that backcombing

Pob- posh's graduated bob cut,not the blonde crop she has now, but the initial bob

am around 6 months behind the times i think!

I had (past my) shoulder length hair until about 4 months ago and then had a pob. I'd be umming about a graduated bob for ages and Posh made my mind up when she had it done as I thought it looked nice. Suits me and wheras b4 my hair always was hard to control (wavy) it is SO much easier now. Quick go with the ghd's and it is straight all day.

lulumama · 18/05/2007 14:34

thanks anna, i think it will book in for a cut next week!

thing is, i am not enjoying having longer hair as it is always tied back, so might as well cut it and start again!

OK - I have a dilema - I am even more behind teh times WRT to celeb hairstyles - do you think you could link to a pic of the 'pob' - please. Sounds similar ish to what I am considering when I can get round to hairdressers.

lulumama · 18/05/2007 16:46

littlerach · 18/05/2007 17:09

My friend has had the graduated bob thing and it does lookk good, but only if she straightens it every day.
Another firand has had what I guess would be a Davina!! Like a longer bob and layered a bit at the sides. It looks lovely.

lulumama · 18/05/2007 17:09

mine was in b) plus tip.

lulumama · 18/05/2007 18:18

oh, that is tres reasonable ! would start to shudder if £60 +

OP posts:
Wotzsaname · 18/05/2007 18:19

I think their top stylist are £30ish...I just did it on a whim today, pics on mn mates...

Wotzsaname · 18/05/2007 18:45

my mum paid £105 for cut & colour and she gets OAP rates..not done around here.

I think for where we live under £30 for Wsh/cut/Bdry is OK.
