I'm going to a Northern European country at the end of May and I've been told that I'm still likely to need a lightweight coat or jacket most of the time. I have two short, light trenches, one plain black and one with a big flower pattern in dark blue, light blue and orange with a very small amount of black and white. My head says I should take the black one and my other clothes should be black, white and either red or yellow, but my heart says I kind of want to take the other one because it's fun. The only thing is, although I love the colour orange, I don't own any other clothes in it and hardly any accessories, and I don't wear a lot of blue either, apart from jeans. In the past I have worn this trench mainly with plain black and/or white. Could I make it work for 6 days without it becoming boring, or is the black one and more varied other clothes a better option?
