So I went to the(slightly) posh bra shop to get measured and she said I was a 32F!!!

And I bought a lovely bra and it's true I am an F cup!! It fits so well, I can't believe I've been walking around in 36DD's for the past decade.
So am I bigger than Jordan?

Perhaps, but not as big as me

mustrunmore · 17/05/2007 14:28

I did that too. Was in 36c, but I'm apparently a 34 e!

Imawurzel · 17/05/2007 14:29

Not sure what she is. But gawd, massive. I'm currently wearing 36dd at the mo. Sometimes a 36e. Got fitted last year for my wedding undies, and those sizes were similar. Am nearly overflowing them, Few more weeks and i'll have to re-invest. (pregnant boobies)

paulaplumpbottom · 17/05/2007 14:30

I'ma 38 E

Aloha · 17/05/2007 14:31

Nearly everyone is a smaller back size and bigger cup size than they think. I think the supposed best way to measure (ie add 4-5inches to the band) is totally wrong btw. It makes me a 36 and even a 34 goes up my back.

tombley · 17/05/2007 14:33

isn't it lovely when you wear a bra that fits well? I keep looking and admiring them now that they are so well supported. My (equally large chested) friend calls it a sheepdog bra, because they have been rounded up and pointed in the same direction.

Go on then Jomist, what size are you?

When I was pregnant I went up to H cup and that was a few years ago when you couldn't get nice styles in that size. I had to buy it from the NCT and it was more hammock than bra. Settled down eventually to a 38G and thank heavens for Bravissimo.

flatmouse · 17/05/2007 14:33

i thoguht i was a 38D but got fitted and came back with very comfy 36F (and boobies in correct place - so much more flattering i find)

WhoBuiltTheArkNoahNoah · 17/05/2007 14:34

lol at sheepdog bra

tombley · 17/05/2007 14:35

No more M&S for me.
Will now have to work more hours to support my bra habit, there were lots of lovely one to choose from.

I wore 38E for years but I am a 32FF.

It's a common problem, women wear a back size too big and a cup size too small.
well done on getting measured tombley! lol at sheepdog bra.

paulaplumpbottom · 17/05/2007 14:39

Maybe I should get measured

tombley · 17/05/2007 14:42

Go PPB, it is much more flattering to wear the right size.

I am recently converted from 36EE to 32GG
What a difference it makes!

WhoBuiltTheArkNoahNoah · 17/05/2007 14:44

BLIMEY

PandaG · 17/05/2007 14:44

felt like I had dropped a dress size when I got measured in Bravissimo - went from 38 D to 34 E

paulaplumpbottom · 17/05/2007 14:44

The thing is the last time I went, I got something diffrent from the one before, which was a couple of days before

tombley · 17/05/2007 14:45

Gosh we are a well blessed lot!

I think you know if it fits when the underwire actually touches your chest. I've never had a bra that does that before. (I used to hide dummys from my ds in the gap between bra and chest)

WhoBuiltTheArkNoahNoah · 17/05/2007 14:48

tombley · 17/05/2007 14:48
