A quest!Can someone please help me find some red and/or fuschia shoes for a ball?

Ok so I have my frock. It’s fuschia velvet. And to go with it I fancy some bright red OR red and fuschia shoes or maybe even shoe boots/ankle boots. The trouble is I have horrible horrible cankles and wide feet and cannot walk in heels. My general ‘look’ is, I am told, fairly quirky, I think quite trendy , I am going for slightly sexy rocky look. I’ll post a picture of the frock.
Anyway so I was hoping for maybe some kind of cool flats with maybe some kind of adornment? Like tassels or pom-poms or something??? Anyone seen anything like that anywhere? Size 8 please! Please help, I’ve looked online everywhere!

The dress looks more raspberry pink to me, is the photo an accurate colour representation?

You also can’t telll from the pic but dress has a very high thigh split. I’ve done ‘demure’ at these things before and whilst I’ve looked ‘nice’ I’ve not really felt like me iyswim. Just trying something different . Don’t nirmally wear bright colours either!

These Mint Velvet have a small heel but an ankle strap (which may or may not be flattering?). They are over budget but you could hold out for a Blue Cross Sale day, as the colour looks pretty good on my screen?

Red and pink loafers- quirky but not evening-y enough I don’t think. Annoying as they look comfy !

I really like the black embroidered mules, don’t mind the silver ones and really like the multicoloured ones.

Can’t wear an ankle strap because cankles 😬😩 otherwise the first pink ankle straps with tassel are nice.
I think they need to have some kind of glam thing going on. I’ll know it when I see it!

Ah hmmmm yes those M&S ones are good colour wise. But not very evening. Quite like them though. They’d prob be nice with some jeans . Maybe. I dunno.

I vaguely remember seeeing some red suede I think pointed miles with huge Pom poms over the front on someone’s Instagram. But can’t remmeber who posted them or where they were from because annoyingly they’d prob be perfect

Do you have a dance shop near, that does ballroom/Latin shoes? Many years ago I worked in one and we sold white satin shoes in all different styles/ heel sizes and dyed them to order.

Oh I don’t know but that s a great idea. Maybe a wedding shop might do it too?

Yes a wedding shop, they probably get requests to dye satin shoes to match the bridesmaids dresses.
