What would you wear to a hairdressing appointment, followed by dinner and drinks?

i would wear a t-shirt to the appointment and then nip to the loo for quick brush down and don normal drinks& dinner type top.

I would wear an old cardigan (so you don't need to pull it over your head) and then ask to use the loo and change into something more glam.

I thought this about the top, but it's the trousers/ skirt that is my concern.
No doubt they will end up with little bits of hair all over them, and I guess tights would be worst for this!

Do you absolutely have to go to the hairdressers beforehand? I find that I always end up with bits of hair stuck all over my face and the feeling, real or imaginary, that hair has escaped down my back as well so I never feel really comfortable until I have showered that night.
