What do people wear in the summer? Anyone fancy sharing pics of their outfits?

I’m stuck in a rut since being pregnant and breastfeeding x 3. My standard outfit is jeans and t shirt, I go crazy and roll up the legs when the suns out!
Does anyone want to inspire me with pics of their summer outfits?
I’m thinking a jumpsuit might be a good place to start?

no pic but today I wore light blue chinos from M&S, a white cotton shirt (charity shop) and navy blue canvas loafers.

for work tomorrow I have put out 3/4 length canvas navy trousers, a navy and white spotty t-shirt and black sandals. All very boring. i do wear other colours than navy - honest!

I haven't decided what I'm actually wearing tomorrow, it's between two (not very exciting) dresses. I spent most of today wearing pyjama shorts and vest, because I didn't leave the house. Usually in the summer I stick with dresses, can't stand waist bands and faffing around.

Thanks for the reply dementedma. I think I could branch out into chinos! I have some grey loafers already but I think they look a bit strange with jeans. I like Navy, much nicer than black

I had to change into a nightie when I got home today as I was boiling and have literally no cool clothes!

Tomorrow a black vest top and knee length slightly asymmetric black wrap skirt (very ballet school) from Laura Ashley with ballet shoes with ribbon ties.

Today I wore a longish white linen skirt - it's sort of tulip shaped with a broad stretchy waistband. I've had it for years and it's my favourite thing to wear in hot weather. Wore it with a darkish grey/blue t-shirt.

Harem pants, vest top and lightweight cardi today

Maxi skirts (so avoiding tights dilemma!)
Jeggings and loose blouse top

I used to wear smart chinos or midi skirts and short-sleeve shirts in the summer but I haven't any (that i can fit into).

Today- black jersey shorts with a crochet over layer type thing, and a dark red vest top

Tomorrow- black and white jersey pencil skirt and mustard vest top

I've just bought pale pink chinos with a lovely eyelet detail up the side and a fab shirt which could work for you re: breastfeeding. Links below:

I was cool and comfy
Think I looked ok (I’m a size 12/14 and 5’4”)
Lost 4 stone in last 18 months and aiming for another 2 off by next year

I'm finding this dress very handy for work in the summer. But because it's jersey and has lovely roomy pockets, i don't feel overdressed wearing it casually too. I have it in navy but thinking of getting one of the prints too. Looks great with sandals or ballet pumps, and with or without a cardigan.

Grey loafers is an excellent place to start happy I might be saying this because I'm after treating myself to a pair, though
Yesterday I wore them with navy chinos and a silvery silk top from Benetton and this cardi.

I like to wear 1950’s style dresses in the summer. I only wear trousers for work and then it’s chinos and a silky top with a cardigan.

Yesterday I wore a cotton skirt from Sainsbury's (you can see it at the bottom of this blogpost - not me!) with a linen and cotton mix navy kimono sleeve top from COS and navy Saltwater sandals. Linen and cotton are essential in the heat I think.

Today for work I'm wearing a navy cotton shirt dress with fitted bodice but full skirt (sales bargain from Precis that fits perfectly) Then nude flats and a red belt. Feels professional because of the colour and fitted top half but still cool to wear.

Thanks for all the ideas, I think I’ll try some chinos and a shirt dress to get me started.
I like the Boden dress but It looks quite tight fitting under the armpits!
Now I just need to find some time (and money) to go shopping and the sun to come back 😂
