Does your ds have a haircut or a hairstyle?

Ds is heavily thatched in the hair dept.. unlike his father.. last time he left the barber's chair he had the same haircut as all the other kids- short at the sides and spiked at the front.
Do you bother fussing about a style or just get it as short as possible without looking thuglike to prevent repeat trips to the barbers as I do ?

I'm great thanks. WHEN are we meeting up??? Mogwai and I had a lovely lunch at Coogee last week and we were talking about an evening at Bondi junction for some shopping and conversation. Is that too far for you? how are the plans coming on?

Until recently the DSs had haircuts - I'd do with the clippers at home, 3 on the top and 2 round the sides. Unfortunately they've both decided they want longer hair so at the moment they both have unruly mops. I think they both now need hairstyles, but I have absolutely no idea how you go about getting them......

Ds just has it tided up, yesterday he had some layers put in to stop it looking like a bob. It is not a style by any stretch of imagination but the barber calls it surfer dude style.

ds2 has gorgeous curls that I can't bring myself to cut, so he's allowed to be a cherub and have it a bit longer.

Ds1 who is 4 has a definite hairstyle. Short at the sides, longer on the top and worn to the left. we put a bit of water on it to tame it in the mornings....by the afternoon it's usually messy again! I cut it myself - but was taught how to replicate the style by my own hairdresser who is such a nice man he took pity on me for having to drag a screaming/reluctant child to have a haircut every 4 weeks. It grows like crazy.....Must have saved myself a bit of money there....

Only problem is that now a fair few friends want me to cut their kids hair too, which is fine, but I only can do about 2 styles, so i't getting to be like revenge of the clones round here.
