Can you get non-low-waisted bottoms made for short-legged people? Not that I'm awkward or anything... but all the ones I've seen recently would trail remorselessly on the floor without even deigning to cover my wobbly tum.

Next do Petite ones which might be better.

If it's just for mooching around home you can't beat a good M&S knee length underskirt. One of those and a wooly tanktop or jumper is my 'uniform' at home.
