No CROC wearers at dd's school ...except for me!!

Thats because they all wear the same clothes theyve worn for the last 6 years, badly fitting trousers at half-mast, cagouls, bobble hats, jeans that were not made for a size 28 lady, orange socks

need i go on .................

expatinscotland · 15/05/2007 16:30

this complete tosser who used to work with us tried to take a pot shot at my crocs.

so i swiped back. at his ugly face.

MrsBadger · 15/05/2007 16:31

I have seen a theatre nurse in them though

NotQuiteCockney · 15/05/2007 16:31

I wear them. DH wears them. And I can think of a few local friends who wear them. Goodness, who knew I was so fashionable?

Kelly1978 · 15/05/2007 16:32

there are three mums up our school that wear them, the other two are vaguely hippy types. I'm not a hippy type, so god knows what crocs make me!

SpawnChorus · 15/05/2007 16:35

Have seen them in abundance round here. And the first thing that crosses my mind is 'ah, well she's not Cod then' (you never know when you might cross paths with The Fish).

I could be one of those frumpy mums

mosschops30 · 15/05/2007 18:48

Shame on you theres no excuse and everyone has a mirror to look in (although somedays I wonder)

Smurfgirl · 15/05/2007 18:49

I have seen a few students with them on and quite a few nurses (different I know).

mosschops30 · 15/05/2007 18:51

oh well i come under the student and nurse category so am exempt from any slagging

belgo · 15/05/2007 18:51

I saw a family of crocs on my last trip to England - mummy (yellow), daddy (green), son (blue) and daughter(orange) crocs .

Chelseamum · 15/05/2007 18:53

Me neither and so so glad none of my girlfrieds wears them.

I haven't seen anyone that suits them... they keep saying that they are comfortable but they are ugly.

Pyjamas are comfy but you don't see people in the street wearing them!

Bananaknickers · 22/05/2007 13:49

I now have seen 4 people wearing crocs at the school

I saw a mum and dad (with 2 small lightly tanned children) wearing crocs at a Country Park near Bournemouth on Sunday.

Must confess did look at them with interest. They seemed quite nice and 'wholesome', were probably upper middle class but were braying a bit loudly. The rest of their clothing was unremarkable.
