Anyone see this on This Morning yesterday? I wanted details on the makeup they tested - especially the one with the built in brush - think it was about £33 . No details on their website.

Can anyone help? TIA

try the new L'Oreal mineral match or something! I brought some the other day and although it is heavier than I thought it would be it gives great, long lasting coverage
it's also on special offer at the moment £9.99 in Boots and Superdrug

loreal have got one out at the mo - about £9.99 in Boots - I was looking at it wondering whether to try it!

incy · 15/05/2007 14:42

The winning one with the brush was Susan Posnick Colorflo (£44.95)

Here is Nadine thingy's blog which has all the details of the make up she tested Beauty secrets by Nadine

Thanks girls!!!!! £44.95? that's more than I remembered!

Does the LOreal one have a brush for that money?

Yes the l'oreal one did have a brush in the top but Nadine said it was rubbish quality and so suggested buying a seperate brush for better application (mind you her standards are probably higher than mine! )

Merlin · 15/05/2007 14:49

Think the LOreal one is the winner on price at this stage - will give it a go I think!

I found the brush to be ok - it gave a even coverage. It's a bit stiff around the eye area but thats about the only thing I could say thats bad about it.

Tamum · 15/05/2007 14:54

I got the L'Oreal one and hate it- we had a conversation about it yesterday here . Clearly it works better for some people than others though

sweetheart · 15/05/2007 15:04

tamum - did you buy the wrong shade perhaps? I have to say I'm very careful to only apply a very small amount. I never wear foundation - only a little dab of powder to take the shine of my face. I did find it quite heavy but then I'm used to just a bit of pressed powder! I was impressed with the fawless finish it gave though.

Tamum · 15/05/2007 16:52

No, the shade's fine, I just can't get it to go on smoothly at all. Just doesn't suit my skin I guess.

I saw something about mineral powder the other day on home shopping (no idea what channel)

it was called simply cover or barely there or something.

The deal was around £40 but you got TONS like 9 or 10 products (one of those long adverty things)

It looked amazing.

Tatties · 18/05/2007 22:23

I use Bare Escentuals which I love

tutu100 · 18/05/2007 22:25

I've got the l'oreal one and I really like it. You do have to be careful not to put too much on in one place otherwise you need to spend ages belnding, but I've found the brush is fine, although I agree with incy that my standards are probably lower than nadine baggart's.

MrsApron · 18/05/2007 22:32

lilylolo for me. love it.

Fubsy · 19/05/2007 20:09

Bare Escentials is lovely - get it from QVC and you can send it back if you dont like it!

ledodgy · 19/05/2007 20:11

The winner of this morning one was susan potnick colour flow and it was around £40. I noted it down so i'd remmeber next time I have some money.

ledodgy · 19/05/2007 20:13

*Susan Posnick Colorflo- £44.95

ledodgy · 19/05/2007 20:15

Sorry someone's already given you the answer ignore my stupid pregnant brain.

Merlin · 20/05/2007 21:44

Update - well I got the l'Oreal one and quite like it, all though the brush seems a bit stiff. Also you have to remember not to put too much on at once cos it's a bit of a bugger to blend in then!

Still hankering after the Susan Posnick one though - can you buy it over the counter anywhere? There's a lot of shades to choose from.
