good idea but what about handbag? ff i think you are not going to get anything particularly nice unless you spend a fortune and it will stop raining and be summer very soon. could try second hand?

i know it's summer soon but it won't stop raining in sheffield and baby not due till nov so will probably need it till march/april.

yes i am pushing a pushchair and likely to be doing so for some time, ds2 is only 8 1/2 months old

i did see a really lovely (non maternity) mac type coat (honestly!) in tk maxx. it was made by french connection and they only had it in a size 8 .

am not sure i'm quite ready for the cycling cape, although it does look very... umm... practical

my sister got a long puffa kind of coat from them and says it si fantastic and well worhtthe moeny

I have had some of their stuff before, it is well made, although some of it a bit too unfitted for me.

I saw a boden-ish raincoat with hood in Hennes - blue with white umbrellas over it - in polyurethaned fabric so not that breathable, but presentable enough. Didn't have my size, but did have big sizes - should fit over bump!
