Last year I had two pairs from Next, black and brown, wore them loads

They are too big this year

So I need to replace

I can;t seem to find any black ones anywhere, and I would like to compare and contrast so please tell me where you bought yours

Would prefer fairly smart cut ratehr than billowy

Mine are way too MC hammer esque.

Aefondkiss · 14/05/2007 19:02

I would like to try a pair from monsoon on, they do them in my short arse size, but never have my size in when I visit...

they are navy blue and look smart, not baggy.

LittleMouseWithCLogsOn · 14/05/2007 19:03

lol at hammer

brimfull · 14/05/2007 19:17

I am soo pleased with my bargain here ,they do them in black aswell.

they are more flattering on me than others as not so wide legged

ChocolateFace · 14/05/2007 19:52

My Monsoon linen trousers are a much smarter cut than my Boden or Next ones.

FrayedKnot · 14/05/2007 20:23

HC I could do billowy if they are real linen for £8

What's the top of them like? drawstring or more fitted?

ggirl I think i want wide legged but just not baggy

I always used to end up in M&S for trousers but think I am between sizes in there atm

I did look at the last few threads Cloggy -now I suppose I will have to do a SEARCH

Have just bought from M&S Autograph and Principles for worky linen trousers

hoxtonchick · 14/05/2007 20:35

drawstring. they really are indistinguishable from ones i've had in the past from m&s & gap. definitely not tailored though.

ChocolateFace · 14/05/2007 21:02

Real linen for £8. Sewn by an 8yo in a sweat shop?
