Best Lavender and Rose body lotions and scents

Which do people think are the nicest? I have been using Nesti Dante soaps and really like the Lavender one and would like a matching body lotion and/or scent. I'm also partial to rose in the summer (used to like Crabtree and Evelyn's rosewater which they have discontinued).
I have had a big bottle of L'Occitane Lavender perfume in the past but found it a bit strong on application but with no lasting power.

Which are your favourites? Are the M&S cheap ones nice? Restricted at the moment due to caring duties so would be ordering online. Thanks

Really miffed to find out that Rosewater has been discontinued! It was light and beautiful and smelt wonderful. They seem to have replaced it with rosewater and Peppercorn, which just sounds odd.

I do like and wear Mon Guerlain for its delicate lavender hued scent. Not the same as pure lavender oil though.

I'm going into mourning if Evelyn has been discontinued - it is one of the best rose scents around :-( Paul Smith Rose is good as is Aqua de Parma Rosa Nobile.

Crabtree and Evelyn do a lovely lavender shampoo - not sure if they have it as a lotion.

Ren rose Otto body lotion and shower gel are my absolute favourite rose scented body products.

Lush Sleepytime lotion is divine.

And I know the Roger & Gallet fleur de figues from M&S is nice but don’t know about lavender or rose. Try and find some samples on eBay?

L'Occitane rose de reine shower gel and body lotion are lovely and I'm a new convert to Molton Brown Rosa Absolute

For anything rose scented I would look on eBay for Bulgarian stuff. I've had some good experiences with the Biofresh brand. The packaging is a bit naff but the products are decent.

No, Evelyn Rose is still available. They seem to have removed Rosewater and Wisteria too.

Not a body lotion, but Aldi recently did a lavender scented face cream and it's excellent. You still get odd ones in store, and they'll hopefully do it again. Think it was £4!

I use Neal's Yard nurturing rose shampoo. It's divine

Molton Brown do a nice Rose shower gel and I have Neal's yard rose and geranium body lotion which I love.

Sorry I seem to have jumped the gun as Crabtree and Evelyn rosewater was out of stock for ages and I thought they had replaced it with rosewater and peppercorn but it seems to be back in stock - but pricey for what it is (£28 for body lotion).

I agree Jakadaal that Rose de reine is very nice and I love the MB Rose Absolut shower gel (sadly finished a few months back). They also have a Rose Absolut eau de toilette (£45) now which I'd love to sniff but a bit much for me to buy on spec without a try out.

Lemony had also forgotten about Roger and Gallet. Always forget that M&S stock lots of good brands in Beauty these days.

Has anyone tried Neal's Yard Lavender body lotion ? or at the cheaper end Dr Organic or Korres?
