Anyone else really impressed with No 7 make-up?

I bought my usual DW foundation on Saturday and then headed over to the No 7 counter.

I asked for a colour match and she went to do my face, but said that was a big no no for me and asked that she did my neck.

My shade came up as Honey... Matches me perfectly, even better than DW.

The finish is even better than DW, it looks more glowy without looking oily, etc.

I'm really impressed.

Today I returned the DW and for my money, I bought my foundation, a blusher and a setting powder to go on top.

Make up hasn't budged all day.

I use No7 essentially natural foundation in Cool Ivory. I am torn between this and Clinique superbalanced, has anyone used Clinique? No7 is much cheaper but also good quality. Has anyone tried No7 eyeliners as I have heard they are not so good.

Their long lasting lipsticks are excellent.

I can't get on with the skincare at all, but am a real fan of the makeup and have been for years. In fact I wore one of their lipsticks on my wedding day 22 years ago - I think it was Plum Beautiful, but don't quote me on that LOL!

My regular buys are their tinted moisturiser, blusher and mascara in the glittery gold tube (name escapes me for the moment). Lipsticks are also excellent and so are their dupes for the Clinique Chubby stick lip colours.

Citygirl1961 I use their eyeliners and I like them. I use the metallic ones.

ooh, I forgot, I think their nail polishes are very good as well.

I might give it a go.
Im not impressed with LM candleglow or Armani silk. Looking for dewy.

What do people think of the new compact foundation/powder thing, the aqua perfect cushion foundation?

HRT, both Instant Radiance and Lift & Luminate are v good for dewiness

How do they "match" your shade? And why use your neck instead of your face? (sorry for being a dope) Will they give you testers to try at home? Would be useful to try a couple of different foundations as I like the sound of some of the ones mentioned here but have never used any No7 makeup.

They match you using a little colour reader machine that they hold against each side of your face. You don't feel a thing. My colour match is spot on. The counter I visited were happy to give me samples and were really helpful
