Fellow --SAs-- petite people - Where to buy summer trousers please

I don't really like M&S trousers as they fit so badly and I'm not keen on Next either.

I'm looking for something in cotton or linen, rather than polyester or viscose. Had a look at Uniqlo and they seem to have a good variety of linen trousers, but what is the length like?

Check the reviews; often someone will write "I'm 6 ft tall and these were the perfect length for me", from which I can extrapolate that they'll probably be too long for my 5'2 frame... It would be much easier if they'd give us product dimensions - or even tell us what size the model is/is wearing

Uniqlo do free alterations I think?

i’m 5’2’’ and get most of my clothes from gap or banana republic, and in fact there’s 30% off trousers till end of today

I buy trousers from gap mainly too, although I don’t particularly like what they’ve got in at the moment.

Misty, would they do alterations for online orders? I don't actually live near a Uniqlo but I order their knitwear sometimes.

Have a look at Sainsbury’s tu. They sell a good range of cotton/ linen clothing and do a short length in many of their trousers.

I'm 5'2", size 10 hourglass and buy petite trousers from Boden, Gap, M&S, and ASOS. Lots of places do petite sizes on line: Mint Velvet, Anthropologie, TopShop. I suspect it's just a case of trying stuff on until you find the perfect fit.
