Was very lucky & got a Tiffany bracelet for my birthday Just 2 days ago. I wore it on a night out last night & ive scuffed it & worm down the T already 🙈 does anyone know if they re engrave/print these if they wear out? Btw it's 100% real incase anyone was going to question it for wearing away so quickly lol

That is a counterfeit bracelet. No Tiffany bracelet would wear in that way after two days. It looks incredibly tarnished in the links and on the hanging tag.

SpeckledyHen · 22/04/2018 05:48

The obvious thing to do is take it back surely ? Why would you even consider any other option to getting it repaired to the tag replaced ?

SpeckledyHen · 22/04/2018 05:49

*or not to

I was given some Tiffany earrings
I took them off & put them on my bedside table & somehow they got scratched.
I put them back in the little blue bag, & the gorgeous blue box & took them back. I was told very quickly they were fake.
They were a gift purchased from the Tiffany website in good faith.
Trouble was website was fake just like the earrings.

Tanaqui · 22/04/2018 07:42

If you bought it in the shop it can’t be fake! I have a silver Tiffany keyring that has scratched badly - silver is soft and as a keyring it has had heavy use, and lots of other metal to bash against. I would take it back and they should sort it.

This is what it should look like. Your bracelet is a fake I'm afraid

Lillylollylandy · 22/04/2018 07:45

@OrchidInTheSun what's the difference between OP's bracelet and the one in your link please? I can't work it out.

OrchidInTheSun · 22/04/2018 07:49

The death of the engraving

OrchidInTheSun · 22/04/2018 07:50

Depth, not death! Grin

ISpeakJive · 22/04/2018 08:08

.....But did YOU go into the actual Tiffany store yourself, OP?

JonSnowsWhore · 22/04/2018 08:20

Yes, we went in together to get the damn bracelet, so as I said before unless Tiffany are selling fake bracelets in their own shops...
I came on here to ask a simple question about whether it's something Tiffany do, so I wasn't worrying about it until I can get back into London to take it to the shop. All the accusations of it being fake are a bit annoying & upsetting, with the amount of times I've said it's not. I'm just going to leave now

But thank you to the people who answered about having the tag replaced, that's good to know & will put my mind at rest for now

They do a full service, pretty much whatever you ask for. This is the invoice for the amendments I had to my bracelet. They are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Jon snow just take it back. It might be worth taking some pics and emailing them so they can see the date.

anonniemoose · 22/04/2018 08:42

Dp bought me a bracelet from their website which was pretty flimsy and snapped at first wear. Got a full refund. Also had a necklace snap and had it restrung.
I have a few things from there and a jeweller friend said the quality doesn't always match the price tag.

OrchidInTheSun · 22/04/2018 08:52

Well if you bought it from the shop, just take it back. Clearly it's a bit shit if that's happened on the first outing.

Why you didn't say you'd bought it in Bond Street in your OP I don't know

JonSnowsWhore · 22/04/2018 09:01

Because I didn't buy it in Bond Street there are other Tiffany stores. I shouldn't have to explain every little detail of our shopping trip for people to believe me, I'm not on trial I just asked a question about a bracelet.
Of course I'll be taking it back I just don't live in central London so will need to plan another day to take it. I was literally just asking to put my mind at rest & to save myself a wasted trip.
Thanks to posters not putting me on trial 😫

No one's asking you to explain every little detail of your shopping trip Confused

Just that if you'd said that you bought it in Tiffany's in the OP you probably wouldn't have got loads of posts saying it's fake. Why don't you give them a ring tomorrow? You could post it back to them

fredabear · 22/04/2018 09:09
