Feeling fat and frumpy and in need of some style tips!

I am size 16/18 faily tall. I work as a nursery nurse so all through the week I am covered in various things such as paint, food, glue etc.

I am fed up of feeling fat and frumpy, dressed in the same 3 pairs of jeans and the same 4 jumpers. I need some style ideas to jazz myself up a bit.

I'm not loaded either so cheap and cheerful would be nice. Primark immediately springs to mind, but their stuff never seems to fit me.

Any ideas where I should be looking and what I should be looking for??

TIA

Linen blend trousers are nice and summery (not that you'd know it from looking out the window) can be dressed up or down. The Next £18 ones are really good value. Which you could team up with something like This?

What height are you and what is your colouring?

Asda are pretty good. You could try some tunic tops over cropped or normal length trousers.
Plus always remember accesories are your friend!
A belt or chunky necklace can transform the usual jeans and tees into something a bit nicer.

shirt dresses?..on own with boots...or over trews/shorts...with nice shoes.

patterned wrap dresses can look casual and can also hide a multitude of stains, wash well etc .there are lots of variations..short sleeved/capped sleeved etc to suit different body shapes.

i like dresses....they are so easy.
