How do you use it as face mask? I've only ever used it under make-up.

Gingermonkey · 13/05/2007 16:00

I read it on the tube, only ever use it under make up normally. I put a big thick layer on and left it for 10 mins and then rinsed it off. It felt lovely and my skin was all glowy and nice.

Ta for that... will try it tonight

Washersaurus · 13/05/2007 16:02

Ooooh I love that stuff - wish I could afford some at the moment, I could do with a pamper

Gingermonkey · 13/05/2007 16:11

washer, you know it's an essential and not a luxury, don't you? . I think of it the same as food and water, and without it I would look like a warty old toad and DH would run off with someone that uses beauty flash and I would end up lonely (OK, that's going a bit far )

wotsits, let me know what you think. It felt a bit wrong using so much but I think for a little treat I deserve it!

Tell me more about this Beauty Flash Balm, who makes it?

PestoMonster · 13/05/2007 16:13

Clarins

MrsSpoon · 13/05/2007 16:14

Ah and is it greasy at all? DS2 has left me with a proneness to spots.

Gingermonkey · 13/05/2007 16:21

It's kind of sticky, not greasy and brightens up your complexion - so you don't have that 'I'm a mum and I'm knackered' look that we usually have

Oh god don't say that - I felt I was going overboard spending money on deoderant last week (have been wearing DH's mitchum stuff for weeks) oh how things change with children............

Gingermonkey · 13/05/2007 16:24

LOL washer, of course if I was still childless I wouldn't need beauty flash balm - I think it should be subsidised by the Govt!

Sounds good, will put it on my shopping list for next time I'm going through Duty Free. Always see these things and never know what they are for. Last time I got Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Cream after hearing the moisturiser raved about on MN (decided not the risk the moisturiser in case it brought out the plooks) and the hand cream worked miracles on my dry, cracked, sore hands.

Washersaurus · 13/05/2007 16:29

With that in mind (and baby no.2 on the way in a couple of months) I'm quickly adding some to my birthday wish list!

MrsBadger · 13/05/2007 16:30

(also for the duty free list - Guerlain Midnight Secret - does the same thing as the F;lash Balm ie you put it on at nigth and when you wake up it looks like you have had sleep)

Gingermonkey · 13/05/2007 16:31

Thanks MrsBadger, I'll get some of that - and how beautiful I will look soon . Even if I feel like crap!

MrsSpoon · 13/05/2007 16:36

Sounds good MrsBadger, might need to increase the Duty Free budget!

wotsits · 14/05/2007 15:21

Gingermonkey, I tried it, it felt niiiiiiiice... faintly tingly, taut and smooth. But you're right, it felt a bit naughty to slap it on so generously

Gingermonkey · 14/05/2007 15:33

I loved that tingly feeling - felt like it was doing some good! I will definately do it again, especially after a particulary bad night (had one of those last night - DD has worms, YUK!!!!!! Had to listen to her whining about her itchy bum all night! ) My friend's going on holiday next week so I've asked her to get me a new one in duty free so I don't run out any time soon.
