If I start now can I tone up my thighs ahead of my holiday in 8 weeks?

If so, what's going to be the most effective way?

Yoga. I’ve no exercise can compare with the toning, slenderising effects.
I’ve not looked for a thigh based video, but I’d be surprised if there isn’t one on you tube.
Enjoy your holidsy.

Using the leg press & other leg weights at the gym

Squats and lunges while waiting for the kettle to boil/brushing teeth/reading/watching TV as many as you can manage. In addition to yoga or whatever workout you choose. Walk as much as possible and use the stairs more than usual. Lazy fucker workout which is perfect for me. xxx

I have this. I place it in my dining room so I'm looking out into my garden and use it whilst waiting for food to cook. You only need to go on it for a few minutes a day or a couple of times a day.

I got mine from a shopping channel, you have to start off with only a few slides then add more each day. Don't try and do a load on your first go or the next day your legs will feel like jelly!

Weights are the quickest way! Do some weighted squats at the gym.

When I started at the gym my thighs were the first thing to tone up- I saw results within two weeks from healthy eating and gym 4 times a week so 8 weeks is definitely achievable!

Weights will give you the quickest result but if you don't want to set foot in a gym then running/walking 10,000 steps a day and lunges/squats should help. Also there are lots of really good 15 minute workout videos on YouTube for thighs/bum

I've not YET changed my diet, but I have been going to 3-4 gym classes per week for the last 4 weeks and I'm already seeing a massive difference in how toned and firm my bum and thighs have become.
I do at least 1 tone class, a kettlebell class and a circuit class each week (all can be done at home with YouTube) and they're making a great difference in such a short time. Most of it is most definitely due to the amount of bloody squats and lunges I end up doing in each class, but they're clearly worth the torture Grin
