Can anyone recommend a shampoo bar that doesn’t leave my hair a sticky mess?

I’m trying to cut down on plastic use this year - so am giving shampoo bars a go - can anyone recommend one or tell me what I’m doing wrong? The one I’m trying (purechimp) smell wonderful, lathers up and seems to rinse clean but the length of my hair is just heavy with grease/residue after drying - anyone have a bar they have tried and tested and love? I’ll also take any other bathroom themed plastic deduction hacks

I did not have any luck finding a good bar. But a bulk buy and plastic fre shop near us has great shampoo and conditioner and will fill up any empty vessel you take along , so I have two good plastic bottles I refill every three weeks or so. Not sure if there is any shop like that near you?

I use the pink lush one and it’s great. It’s taken a while to get used to their conditioner but the shampoo is great on my hair

I like this (but it's the only brand I've tried). I had the same problem for the first wash but after my hair got used it the results have been good.

Simply Soaps do a hemp hand and body soap that's quite good.
