Favourite red lipstick

I don't often wear red, but have a few nights out coming up so thought I'd get a new one. I don't have a red that I love at the moment so popped into boots today to have a look. The lady at smashbox was fantastic, really helpful. She helped me try some on and we decided on Bing. It's a classic red, matte but comfortable. Never had a smashbox lipstick before, but think this might become my new favourite. What are your favorites everyone?

Ruby Tuesday by max factor is the only red i ever wear

I have a Revlon Matt Balm lip pencil which I really love - it's cheap but brilliant. It's a thick, quite waxy texture, matt in effect and goes on v v easily for shaping. I have no 265 which is called Fierce Redoubtable (!) and it's quite a deep raspberry brownish red. Love it.

Mac Viva Glam Sia is beautiful and not nearly as drying as some other Mac reds. I also like the Maybelline super stay matte ink in Pioneer for a stay all day but won't dry lips red, decent price too compared to some.

That I was just coming on to say that Maybelline pioneer is THE best. It stays on all day and no bleeding. It's only 10 pounds too. I Iove it.

MAC Ruby Woo. Always and forever. It suits everyone I know, regardless of age or ethnicity.

Bing is going to get it's first outing tomorrow night. Going out with some school mum friends to a pta fundraising event. It's only casual and I can bet my life I'll be the only person there in red lipstick, but I don't care. Looking forward to wearing it.

stop yes, I wear red every single day, even if I wear no other makeup. I am too lazy to do eye makeup other than mascara and flicky eyeliner, but red lipstick is my “thing”. I have about 100 different ones. Bing is great, enjoy wearing it.

Sorry, missed that question! I find the Art Sticks have different formulas but Cassis works nicely for me and isn’t drying. Favourite stick though is NARS Consuming Red although a bit drier.

I bought the Charlotte Tilbury ''Walk of Shame'' Lipstick earlier and I love the colour and I love how easily it glides on but it doesn't last very long. I was reapplying it every 20 minutes. Never known a lipstick disappear off my lips so quickly

I have Bobby brown lip sticks and they stay on for ages. I wish Bobbi Brown had a good brownish red

It goes on like a dream, is super moisturing and incredibly long lasting. Even thought it’s described as a balm it doesn’t look like one, it looks like a slightly glossy red lipstick.

Evenings and winter (esp Christmas) - Chanel pirate

Daytimes all year Guerlain kiss kiss rouge kiss a slightly sheer coral red which is odd because I don't suit coral lipsticks normally.

On my wish list is Chanel dimitri which is a pink red.

Elemental thanks, I quite like the idea of a pencil so might have a look at Nars.

Lucked the Guerlain one sounds great, I don't usually suit coral tones but I'd like a red that's a bit more suitable for daytime so will have a look at that one.

Loved wearing Bing on Friday night. And as suspected I was the only person wearing red lipstick, but did get a few compliments.
Don't know where all of the red lipstick wearers are in real life, but they don't seem to be near me. I've made a big list of everyone's favourites so I can have a look at some. Thanks everyone.
