Maybe I'm getting old, but am I alone in thinking they look hideous?

I used to love bootcut jeans and had a pair similar to this. I'm very pleased they're back!

I used to wear bootcuts back in the early 00s but long ones as they elongated my legs. These short ones though...thanks but no thanks!

I think they’re vile.I despair at fashion at the moment.

I’m searching for some new dresses, and used to find dress shopping easy a few years ago. Now, I can only find dresses that are slutty, frumpy, or cheap and nasty quality.

I don’t mind those. Not with those shoes though!

I also think they’re horrid. I actually like full length bootcut jeans, but not those.

They look like clown trousers. Just awful!

Bootcut? - when they don't even reach the boots.
Hideous and would look even worse on any fat-ankled women.
Only consolation they would be full length bootcut on those of us on the short side.
I await the arrival of cropped 'flares' as the next trend.

I wont be wearing cropped boot cut jeans but i do think skinnies are beginning to look dated.
Digging the slim fit ankle cropped jeans out of back of cupboard in a compromise.

Yikes! Those just look a bit comical tbh. I can’t imagine who would suit them.

They are odd looking.

I used to have some similar from Top Shop around 2003, they were cut really low in the rise which sort of balanced things out.

Hmmm, that's not a good look, it just looks like her jeans are too short for her.

They look really stupid! The fashion industry is clutching at straws trying to come up with new stuff but when it even looks dumb on stick thin models it’s clearly not going to work.

Hideous. In fact most of trends at the moment are hideous. Stupid frills, odd lengths, bizzare colours. I find myself sticking to plain black stuff to avoid looking like an oversized twit.

I’m with you. I HATE the frills and ruffles on everything! They make most people look ridiculous. I’ve just bought an outfit for a wedding, but it was so hard to find something suitable, as everything has some weird and unnecessary pattern or embellishment on it.

I like the first pair they've been around for a couple of years.

They can be worn with boots

Despite reminding me of Star Trek, I kind of like them. At this stage, I'm ready for anything that's not skinny.

They might change organically. Jogging S came out of the skinnies fashion.
Maybe stupid cropped boot cuts will only be availble in brights so people don't have to take them seriously. Or something.

I like a wide leg cut off. Essentially a culotte. I'm short but I have some good photos of me wearing a silk pair with a scoop neck top.
