Just this really. Preferably black. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Budget around 80 pounds.

I bought a cotton twill parka type from H&M (I Haven't worn it yet though, it's been tipping down last weekend and I wear a workcoat in the week )
Black, not too much metal studwork, decent pockets and a hood.

I don't have a 'proper' parka , too warm for me and I don't like fur.

What style do you like and do you want it to be waterproof? Uniqlo blocktech are good if you want a smarter style for Spring weather but are showerproof rather than properly waterproof www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/women/outerwear/blocktech

I've got a Jessica Simpson one from Tk Maxx, I think it was about £60 but it's a bit more stylish than the usual 'mum' type rain coats
