White bumps: product or treatment

Does anyone have any recommendations for treatment of these multiple white bumps I get under my skin in my face?
They are the type that last for months unless I dig them out and theny face is a scabby mess Sad
I wear minimal make up, and use a simple exfoliating face wash once-twice daily.
I hit 40 a few months ago and my skin just looks tired (and bumpy).
Am wondering if some sort of facial treatment or glycolic peel would work? Any advice!

I personally wouldn’t use an exfoliator twice a day. I would try cutting that down and try a more gentle cleanser. There are exfoliating toners that may be worth trying eg Ren, I think Superdrug also have a glycolic one. Check out fantastic skincare thread as they have a lot of advice there too

I would liek to know the answer to this too.

They look like milia, and exfoliators or any other kind of skincare product won't do anything to remove or prevent them. Go have a facial and ask for them to be removed. (Digging them out is the only way to remove them, but a professional will do with minimal pain and won't leave a scab. The skin needs to be pierced and the milia will pop out with a gentle squeeze. Weirdly they're small black dots and not white at all.)

I used to get them on my eyelids when I was in my early 20s. I no longer get them now. I still have no idea why I got them or what I did to stop getting them!

Thanks.
They do come out white, when I get them out. If they're close to the surface I get them with a pin but sometimes they're quite deep and need quite a bit of digging (hence scabbiness).
Also would love to know how to prevent them!
The exfoliatir I use is a very gentle one, I thought it may help. Its actually Aldi's Lacura one. It's v similar to Simple. I can react to colours/perfumes.

My skin look exactly the same as yours (I'm few years younger). I get the white spots as well and unfortunately the only way to get rid of them is to dig them out. I second the facial.

Someone on another thread (actually several people) recommended the Ameliorate range (M and S have it) for chicken skin/bumpy skin (dd has some on her arms so I was going to try it, which is why I remembered, but have not yet).
