May I recommend an everyday dress that you can just throw on AND it covers up any stomach blobs and bulges??

here

arrived today and admittedly it doesn't look too clever on the pic (I was bored at work when I ordered it) but it is vvvvvv flattering

ruching covers any blobby bits

nice v at back

would wear with flat strappy sandals

dh hates it but as I told him, who the hell asked for your opinion????

You wear this kind of dress everyday?

Spagblog · 10/05/2007 20:49

Looks nice, where is the ruching?

southeastastra · 10/05/2007 20:49

why does he hate it?

Taylormama · 10/05/2007 20:49

oooh lovely - so you don't have bingo wings then

oliveoil · 10/05/2007 20:51

for work
or dropping off at playgroup

up, shower, undies, dress, shoes, go

ruching on stomach bit, then it flares out over arse area

dh doesn't like patterned dresses, so I have 5 of them...

is it plyester

DeviousDaffodil · 10/05/2007 20:52

Tis a nice dress.
Suddenly feel aware taht I am a right scruff bag.
Dresses are for weddings in the daff house.
Really like the dress btw.

PedroPony · 10/05/2007 20:53

how much boobage on show

Aloha · 10/05/2007 20:58

I really like the dress. Doesn't seem unduly revealing to me. Would wear it happily for school run. A sort of mock wrap does disguise tummy flobble IME. Why doesn't your dh like it? Mine would.

DimpledThighs · 10/05/2007 20:59

Nice dress -

does it cover your bra at the back?

oliveoil · 10/05/2007 21:01

fgs

got dragged away by wailing brats (both ill with coughs) grrrr

had a look at label and it is 92% viscose, 8% elastine so has a nice stretch

boobage view ok, I work with 90% men (hubba hubba) so have to watch out for flauntage issues

dh has opinion on clothes and I used to listen but then realisd I work white shirts and jeans all the time, so now I ignore

covers bra

not sure if it is in the shops, may be cheaper in the actual shop then from my catalogue

Gameboy · 10/05/2007 21:03

What do you wear with it though? Jacket/ Cardi?

I'm always so flippin' cold, I can't wear a dress like this unless it's 25 c - and then you go into some cold air-conned office

oliveoil · 10/05/2007 21:06

shhh

I am envisaging a sweltering day

(dh has got bonus and told me we are going away next weekend - with sprogs, can't have everything, tsk - so I am off to research places, will be back)

xx

Coo, it's another world......

....this morning for the school run I wore jeans, a fleece, wellies and a hat ('cos my hair needed washing)

chilledmama · 10/05/2007 21:11

Looks lovely oliveoil.

DeviousDaffodil · 10/05/2007 21:11

I wore my gym kit to do school run so that people would think I had been to the gyma dn that was why I looked so manky with greasy hair and no make up!1

DrNortherner · 10/05/2007 21:16

Olive it is lovely. I would have to wear heels though as am short arse.

I love dresses for everyday wear.

And what do dh's know?!

Gingerbear · 10/05/2007 21:17

I like the shape, but I don't do blue. And no good for 38 week bump at the moment.
Littlewoods have come on in leaps and bounds in style stakes IMO.

oliveoil · 10/05/2007 21:23

not sure if it would suit Oompa Loompa's Northerner...

mwah

only kidding petal

BOTH children are now wailing through their respective monitors

and I am trying to MN and watch Hustle grrrr

Fab dress. I wear dresses most days. Today I am wearing a short black New Look dress with thick black tights and black patent faux-DM boots. It is like November here and tipping down a monsoon into the bargain.
I hope the weather for your lovely dress returns asap.
