Talk to me about facial oils for oily skin

I’ve read on here that oils can actually help oily skin to be less oily. Quite like this idea as I steer away from moisturising too much as it seems to make my skin more greasy but I’m aware that it still needs some kind of moisture.

So what should I use - facial oil to moisturise and an oil cleanser? Which ones?

Dr Hauschka has a special oil for oily skin, I would recommend that.

I absolutely love jojoba, grapeseed, and also squalene oil from the Ordinary for my oily, yet dehydrated skin.
These oils are not too heavy, and smooth my skin beautifully without causing breakouts.
I oil cleanse, remove make up, and also moisturise with jojoba, grapeseed, and sometimes extra virgin olive oil (if dry).

I use coconut oil for oil cleansing as well (I always have a tub around for my hair).

If my skin is dehydrated and tight throughout the day, I will tap some oil into any dry patches, or to give my under eyes a glow (on top of my make up).

I also use the oils as body moisturisers, either on their own, or mixed in with creams. Especially on any eczema patches, and under my boobs. Blush

I love oils for the ends of my hair, and for an overnight condition, before washing the next day.

I can't be without these oils, and get them all from amazon (apart from the squalene).
I don't feel the need to purchase expensive, ready made up mixes, usually containing fragrances, or essential oils.
These are all I need.
