How long will it take me to grow my hair into a nice length to be a bridesmaid?

Its a bob at the moment. Getting cut again tommorow. Jaw length.

Being a bridesmaid twice next year. August and september.

I think I'd like my hair to be long again for the weddings. Not sure if I want it up or down but DONT want it to be at that awful inbetween stage.
Just a bit longer than shoulder length. Then I have options.

When do you think I should stop getting it cut?

why does it need to be long ?

if the bob suits you (and I guess it does else you wouldn't keep having it redone), keep it.

Otherwise start growing it now - you can always have it trimmed back to shoulder length if it gets too long before the weddings.

depends how fast your hair grows, it took me the best part of a year to go from bob to put-upable hair when I was about 15. I had quite short bob and hair was just below shoulder length wwhen finished, but i had v thick hair and layers.

Otherwise if the bob looks nnice then keep it and wear your hair like that.

It doesn't have to but I think it would look better with the dress and flowers etc. I don't think I could do much with it as it is , wedding wise, so it would just look the same as when I'm going to sainsburys etc.

but that's part of the point - you still want to look like you!

(for what it's worth I worked long and hard to find a hairstyle for my on wedding that was as close to my everyday messy bun as possible so I would be able recognise myself in the photos...)

Yes I know but I do want to look a bit special too. Maybe with a hair accessory or something. Or have it tonged so it has loose curls. I don't know really.
BTW I had my hair mostly down for my wedding for the reasons you said .
