I've got to go to one next month..

How formal are these things? it's the finale to a seminar/training weekend thing in a hotel.

i have a beautiful floor length black monsoon dress i coul lend (size ten) or a black velvet monsoon corset top size 14 to be worn with nice trews both i have worn for very posh events

I'm not very good at hair, it's waist length if I straighten it and sort of shoulderblade if I leave it curly.

wooohoooooooo!!! Thanks for all the help but I've discovered that it's not a gala dinner at all! Just an end of conference thing so no need for a frilly dress!!

I'm a bit disappointed in a way cos I had found a dress very similar to te one below but in red and I had sort of got me head round wearing it, lol

But I'll be much happier in something less dressy soo.. big phewwww!
