Getting fake tan stains out of white top on balldress?

Anyone got any ideas? My daughter has been given a beautiful black and white balldress and unfortunately, it has a bit of fake tan staining on the white top bit (been there a considerable while too, so not freshly happened.) Should I take it professionally to be cleaned? Bit scared to have a dabble at home in case I make it worse!

I think I’d take it to a professional too, especially as the stain isn’t recent.

Does it have some instructions ? Can you take a pic and post it ? Often these dresses are made of polyester and are washable but if it's silk and needs dry cleaning a reputable dry cleaner will warn you that trying to remove the fake tan may cause the black to run into the white .
