I love flappy sleeves, can you not just cut the elastic/thread out?

Twiglett · 07/05/2007 22:47

I have seen some nice ones in per una, shirty-type tops in white with proper sleeves and a grandad collar.

Malaleche · 07/05/2007 23:12

If you cut the elastic very carefully in several places, if it's the kind that's not inside a seam iyswim, then it looks ok and doesnt feel claustrophobic on your wrists.

I can't stand the '1970's and pregnant' look that seems to be the only option this year...

I don't think it favours anyone tbh....

thequeenofcontradiction · 07/05/2007 23:24

why couldn't it have been in fashion last year when I was pregnant?

MrsBadger · 08/05/2007 17:19

it's still doing me no favours and I am pregnant

(exception are the wonderfully low cut empire line smocks in Primark - showcase my normally-nonexistent cleavage in a fetchingly Jane Austen-esque way)
