So what do we think of pregnant women in skinny jeans?

For me I think it has to be a no.
Its the whole fitted on the legs but big bump thing.

If they can get into them, fair play

I can't and DS is 7 months old

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole when not pg as they make my arse look huge.

but now I am pg and look huge all over in all directions, what's to stop me showing off the bits that are still slim?

and yet I still cannot bring myself to wear them

(have succumbed to smock tops though - Primark non-mat ones - making most of pre-bf cleavage in a Jane Austen period-drama fashion)

i think it looks fab! still sexy but def with bump covered.

when i was pg with ds my legs the only weight i put on was on my legs, wish i couldve found some nice skinny jeans then, ended up wearing a vile denim dungaree dress so i looked like a fecking egg.

Generally I'm envious of anyone who can get into skinny jeans whether they are pregnant or not

As long as you steer clear of dungarees and the like, I don't think you can go far wrong

I was still in my size 10 skinnies at 7months pg. Ok, I couldn't do them up, and well, i couldn't really breathe either, and DH had to put my knee high boots on for me, but I was damn well going to wear them just so I could come on thread like this I say I did!

Of course now its size 16-18 Primark trackies all the way till the end!

Actually if your legs are slim and you are wearing something that covers, one of those dress things perhaps, it could be really quite nice.

im torn on this one.

when not pregnant i always considered myself to not really suit skinny/nearly skinny jeans...(due to wide low slung ass)

but recently i have been wearing my wide legged combatish type trews circa 2003...and really dont like them.....or find them flattering (even though i LOVED them before)

so i tried on some more contemporaneous jeans in H&M (ie skinnies)and they looked fab...with a long t.

or did they?...am i just pregnant and oblivious.

(firend gave me some SHORT shorts teh other day....oh how we laughed when i wrestled into those)

If I can find a pair of skinny jeans that will cater for my bump I'm having them. I've got the skinnist jeans I can find and a great pair with huge turn upos.

I like to wear things I'd normally waer but that also accomodate my bump.
