Good afternoon

So after discovering Glycolic pads, I need to up the SPF. I have classic combination skin. Is La Roche-Posay a good buy? Or any other recommendations please. Thank you Smile

bodyshop, Biore or Simple

Tend to use the simple over winter (read 20C during the day), and the SPF 50 the rest of the time (when its boiling).

Neostrata Sheer Physical Protection. I've tried loads and just keep coming back to it, it works nicely as a primer and is tinted.

I use LRP Anthelios comfort cream for the neck as it's cheap.

Have tried Biore, Heliocare, Epionce, Ultrasun and City Block.

None - Vitamin D deficiency is a health crisis, causing disease and death. In Australia they are now campaigning to discourage sunscreen use, such is the scale of the problem.

I use Clinique Superdefense combination to oily skin spf 20 moisturiser usually.

If I'm going out in the sun for more than an hour I like boots no7 facial sun cream spf 30.

I take daily vitamin D and have quartley bloods which highlight this anyway

I use Ultrasun - expensive but worth it! You can buy it at John Lewis.
It doesn't feel sticky or clammy like other suncream and I also have very sensitive skin.

Body Shop spf50 essence. No whiteness, great under makeup

IlonaRN · 15/03/2018 15:34

Are any of the recommended ones free of phenoxyethanol, please?
I am trying to avoid that.

tulipz · 15/03/2018 18:08

I use Ultrasun too, different ones, but the antipigmentation one is my favourite. Qvc has them, and 30 days money back guarantee

I had a breakout reaction to the Biore watery essence (same reaction as with most primers I’ve tried, v v annoying as I had high hopes...)
