I would like a nice top to go to the pub in plus some glam sandals

So please help! Have lots of school run outfits - cropped jeans, skinny jeans plus puff sleeve shirt and vest or cotton dress - but nothing slightly more glam to wear with jeans to go to the gastro pub for dinner with dh. I also need glam maybe beaded flat sandals. Please! I am 5'8" size 12, curvy, brunette, short bob, 40 something but not dumpy frumpy.

Yes, went to Zara and thinking chiffony, colour, maybe sparkle, be brave woman, found a really pretty top in chiffon, floaty sleeves (short, more of a long ruffle really) to cover weird bit of arm sag at the very top that age has bestowed upon me, a sort of elasticated bit over the chest and then floaty to a length that does a marvellous job of hiding muffiny bits and saddlebags! It is really nice though, but no link, I'm afraid. It is sheer but looks good over an M&S vest with bra bit.
Also bought a sweet cotton short dress with ruffle sleeve in blue and green print - very lilly pullitzer - also cute over skinny jeans.

And now the weather has turned cold! Gah!

So the weather's your fault. Glad you found something. Sometimes it's a case of just saying 'sod it - I'm going to try on some stuff I would never usually consider' and that way you can find things that just work.
