Mine is a Hobbes long sleeved t shirt that I got in a swish. It's so soft and easy to wear with anything. And a dress I got from Asda years ago -scarf print at front with black jersey sleeves and back. Whenever I wear it I get compliments.

I have a stretch tweed boucle shift dress, from Damsel in a Dress, that is the most comfortable thing ever, but looks v posh, stylish and authoritative. It actually looks like it could be Chanel, though I got it in a sale for £90. Perfect for important work meetings, giving talks, or any formal occasion.

I dread the day it becomes too tatty or gets damaged... but it's held up v well for years. Luckily I don't need it that often.
